Ravens coach and GM in on Kaepernick signing, but team owner is resistant.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco suffered a back injury last week which will reportedly keep him out of action for a week, sparking rumors that the Ravens might sign free agent QB Colin Kaepernick.

And according to ESPN's Diana Russini, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and GM Ozzie Newsome support such a move- especially since backup Ryan Mallett has reportedly struggled with the first team- but the team owner, Steve Bisciotti is against the Kaepernick signing.

ESPN reports that Baltimore has spoken with Kaepernick, and even consulted Ray Lewis on the matter, but there's no update on whether they'll sign the former 49ers QB.

Per ESPN,

Harbaugh told reporters today: "I do not have an update on Colin Kaepernick. I'll frame that this way: there are other positions that we're looking at too and I don't have any updates on those either. I think they're all in the same category."

Kaepernick, who will no longer protest the national anthem as he did last season, has been a free agent since March 1st when he opted out of his contract with the 49ers.
