T.I. and Kevin Hart, who previously shared the screen in Get Hard, are coming together for a new TV comedy.
According to Deadline, the two men will executive produce and make occasional guest appearances on The Studio, a new music-themed office comedy that has landed at Showtime for development. The series will be written by Ayesha Carr from Everybody Hates Chris and Lionsgate TV will be the studio, as per their existing deal with Hart.
Over and above his current tour, Tip also has quite the on-screen career going for him right now. He recently finished work on William H. Macy’s Krystal and will be reprising his role from Ant-Man in the sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp. His popular realty series T.I & Tiny: Family Hustle wrapped up its 100-episode, six-season run on VH1 last night.
