Today, the full list of Oscar nominations was released, and The Weeknd will be pleased to see that he's earned a nomination for his "Fifty Shades of Grey" single (aptly-titled) "Earned It."
The singer has had a carefully-planned, but extremely successful 2015. He welcomed the spotlight for a bit, doing a few different interviews, released a commercial success Beauty Behind the Madness, started dating an "It"-girl model Bella Hadid, and was nominated for seven Grammy awards.
"Earned It' was nominated for Original Song alongside "Manta Ray," "Simple Song #3," "Til It Happens To You" and "Writing's On The Wall."
