Rumors are circulating on the web that Gucci Mane's freedom could be closer than you think. Even while he's been locked up, the rapper's presence has been felt simply because he has so much material in the stash that he continues to release music more frequently than some of your favorite free rappers. Case in point, he's dropping a new mixtape Trapology on July 1st.
Trapology might be followed by GuWop's freedom, according to a Reddit user and Atlanta DJ Bankhead, further backed up by a tweet from Mike WiLL Made It. The Reddit user claims, "I work for a few record companies in Atlanta and some people from his camp are my good friends. He is being released on July 11th." DJ Lil Bankhead took to Instagram to write, "JULY 11 MY HOMIE BACK IN THE STREETS SALUTE," alongside a photo of Gucci.
Mike WiLL tweeted this morning that Gucci is coming home, adding fuel to the fire. "#FREEGUCCI big dog coming home!!!" he wrote. Still, no word yet from Gucci Mane's twitter or camp. The Federal Bureau of Prisons records apparently still lists Gucci's release date as March 6 2017. We'll keep you informed.
