HNHH's "Underrated Audio" puts you on not-too-mainstream music you might have missed from the past week.

This week is pretty big on the music-front, we got Big Boi and Game’s album both out today, and both are equally dope and deserve multiple listens. With those LPs taking up much of my spare listening time, the rest is relegated to Sir Michael Rocks’ new shit (a sample of which is seen below) and various other singles (also seen below). Enjoy.

Vado- The Awards (Prod. araabMUZIK)

Vado isn’t an artist I listen to too often, and he’s kinda been M.I.A. for a moment.  So 1)this is an araabMUZIK beat 2)haven’t listened to Vado in a minute = must listen. And I wasn’t disappointed. This isn’t your usual corny rap song. Vado spits about what he did while everyone was at the BET Hip-Hop Awards show. Sounds like he probably had a better time than most rappers in attendance. Oh yeah, the beat is hard. Hopefully we get some more araabMUSIK collabos on Vado’s upcoming mixtape Slime Flu 3.

Sir Michael Rocks- FBAG

Sir Michael Rocks dropped off a 1.5 sequel with Lap Of Lux 1.5 last week. With only eight songs on it, this tape was definitely not his most impressive effort, but still can’t say no to some new Mikey Rocks. This was one of the better cuts off the tape. With J. Hill on the beat and features from TPC members Tris J and Shorty K, that’s usually a recipe for some audio dope.

Freddie Gibbs- Above All Feat. H-Trae & D-Edge

Gangsta Gibbs (who I am glad to hear has now left Young Jeezy’s CTE label) appeared on this collaborative mixtape from The Smoking Section & SPKSMEN. “Above All” features two other rappers I’m not familiar with. Regardless, this has some smooth Houston vibes on it. Freddie Gibbs even gets some melody-type-shit on during his verse and it works surprising well. Now we just gotta find a label to distribute his debut album.
