Tis the season for patriotic kicks.

If you have a thing for patriotic, red, white and blue sneakers then you're in luck because the month of July is absolutely loaded with USA themed sneakers.

4th of July weekend always brings out the best star spangled sneakers but with the Olympic games beginning one month from now there's even more in store for the red, white and blue colorways.

Nike Basketball, in particular, will be rolling out plenty of USA and Olympic styled sneakers, including the signature silhouettes of each of their major athletes.

Along with the new signatures, there are also some returning classics like those worn by Penny Hardaway and Scottie Pippen in the Atlanta Olympics 20 years ago.

Some USA themed Nike sneakers have already hit retailers while others are on tap for later this month- all of them can be found in the gallery above.

Nike KD9 "Premiere"

Release Date: Available Now

Kevin Durant has officially announced that he'll be playing in the 2016 Summer Olympics and this patriotic "Premiere" Nike KD9 which he''ll be lacing up in Rio is available now at all major retailers for the very consumer-friendly price of $150.

The low-cut sneaker, designed by Nike's Leo Chang, features a coke white flyknit upper with red branding, a red full length Zoom Air unit, and hits of blue throughout.

Specifically, the Nike KD9 features a pattern with a distinct honeycomb structure precisely knit for the multidimensional movement of basketball and Durant’s lateral quickness. Flyknit technology engineering locks down the forefoot while still allowing the foot to move naturally. Flyknit’s efficient material use also ensures the upper is lightweight, without compromising strength.

Nike Air More Uptempo "Olympic"

Release Date: July 20th

Nike has officially confirmed that the classic "Olympic" Nike Air More Uptempo will be make its much anticipated return to retailers on July 20th, for $160.

There's a ton of nostalgia that goes along with these iconic sneakers, as they were the kicks that Scottie Pippen laced up 20 years ago at the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta which is why they feature his Team USA #8 on the heel.

The kicks look just as they did two decades ago, but this time around when people buy the "Olympic" Air More Uptempo they probably won't be doing so with any intent to actually play ball in them. But if you do, I applaud you.

Nike Kyrie 2 "USA"

Release Date: Available Now

Kyrie Irving will be playing for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Rio and he'll be rocking this sweet patriotic version of the Nike Kyrie 2.

IMHO, Kyrie Irving's signature sneaker is easily the best shoe that Nike Basketball is working with nowadays, although the newly unveiled KD9 is certainly nothing to scoff at.

The super clean Kyrie 2 silhouette goes predominately white with a blue strap and red accents- another example of when keeping it simple is what works best.

Nike Zoom Flight 96 "Olympic"

Release Date: July 7th

20 years after Penny Hardaway laced up the special edition "Olympic" colorway of the Nike Zoom Flight '96, Nike has plans to re-release the iconic sneakers.

Unlike some of the new school "Olympic" basketball sneakers, Penny's Zoom Flight '96 is more toned down with a predominately white upper accompanied by navy blue accents and his Team USA #6 stitched onto the heel in gold.

The 20th anniversary sneakers will reportedly hit retailers on July 7th and they'll surely be a hit with all of the OG sneakerheads who remember Penny and co. taking home the gold at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

Hell, even the younger sneaker collectors who don't remember Penny's Zoom Flight '96 should be feeling the clean look of these "Olympic" kicks.

Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit "Olympics"

Release Date: July 7th

One such sneaker that is drawing on inspiration from the upcoming Olympic games is the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit. Yes, that's a mouthful. But if you can get through the sneaker's lengthy name, you'll appreciate the greatness of this gold medal edition which features a blend of navy and red flyknit and gold accents throughout.

The kicks are easily one of the best Nike Air Prestos of the year, and we believe they'll be highly sought after when they finally release on July 7th for the retail price of $130.

Nike Air Foamposite One "Olympics"

8 Of The Best USA Themed Nike Sneakers Releasing In July

Release Date: July 22nd

As we know, the Olympics are headed to Rio this Summer and Nike plans on celebrating with a very patriotic, USA styled Foamposite One. We're betting that there will be a 'Rio' Foamposite release as well, but that's a different story.

As for this 'Olympic' Nike Air Foamposite One, it comes decked out in white with obsidian, red and gold accents, complete with an American flag styled insole. Furthermore, they'll be releasing on July 22nd which is just a few weeks before the Olympic games kick off in Rio.

So if you've got $250 to spare, have a passion for Foams and are a true American these might be the best kicks all Summer 16.

Nike Hyperdunk 2008 "United We Rise"

8 Of The Best USA Themed Nike Sneakers Releasing In July

Release Date: July 23rd

The classic "United We Rise" Nike Hyperdunk 2008 will be returning for the first time on July 23rd, just before the start of the Summer Olympics in Rio.

The kicks were originally released for Team USA's 2008 run at the Beijing Olympics, featuring a patriotic colorway with "United We Rise" proudly stamped on the tongue. To give the 2008 Hyperdunk's some added flair, Nike also added a graphic print throughout the shoe and splashed the laces with some golden speckles.

There's no shortage of Nike athletes on this year's Olympic roster, so we're hoping to see these on the feet of someone like DeMarcus Cousins when the games tip off in August.

Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low "USA"

8 Of The Best USA Themed Nike Sneakers Releasing In July

Release Date: Available Now

Kobe Bryant won't be coming out of retirement to join the USA Men's Basketball Team at the Rio Olympics but Nike Basketball is still paying homage to the Black Mamba with this patriotic "USA" Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low.

And since these are of the "Elite" variety, the kicks are wrapped in the beloved Flyknit material- naturally decked out in red, white and blue.

As a nod to Kobe's Olympic appearances, the "USA" Kobe 11 Elite Low also features '08 and '12 on the heel of the right sneaker which were the years in which he won Olympic gold with Team USA.
