Keef just quietly dropped his second joint mixtape with longtime collaborator DP Beats, Almighty DP 2. Keef hasn't promoted the tape much -- he's busy focusing on Bang 3 Pt. 2 and his upcoming hologram festival -- and, as there are no features on the tape, it was tricky identifying a standout, but a few seconds into "Fever," and you'll know it's the Sosa we know and love.
DP makes a cold beat out of distant horror movie strings and sharp trappy drum rollouts. The hook by Sosa is really what makes the track, and though the rhyming isn't exactly genius, he has a knack for coming up with turns of phrase that make the squad go dumb. Next time your girl asks you why you're sippin' drank, take Sosa's cue, and respond, "I gotta fever."
