Following the release of his recent single "Bet," Bino Rideaux has officially delivered his first album on Def Jam -- the fifteen track Outside. Featuring guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Mozzy, Fredo Bang, and more, the album remains Bino's show through-and-through, a solid showcase of what he's all about. Vocally, Bino implements a fair amount of autotune into the mix, blending his cadence effortlessly with his favored production style. Guitars and atmospheric synth pads form the basis, with some songs actually skewing closer to the r&b side of the spectrum.
It's easy to lose yourself in Bino's vision, as songs like the emotional "Fuccwitchu" tend to drift in a soothing fashion. That's not to say it's entirely relaxing, as Bino does kick it up a notch on the Mozzy-assisted "100 Xtras" and the west-coast bounce vibes of "Beep." But in terms of overall vibe, Bino's Outside is a smooth and hypnotic dose of music from one the west's rising new talents.
