Amilcar is a rising rapper out of Chicago, but rather than embracing the punishing sounds of drill, or the soulful introspection of SAVEMONEY and Mick Jenkins, the rapper has alligned himself more with sonic experimentalists like IBN Inglor. The filtered samples on the track come to a climax in the outro, coming together for a jarring collage of sounds that's unlike anything coming out of the region at this time. His True Rebels Walk Alone EP is due out in November.
