RZA gives another update on the status of the upcoming Wu-Tang album.

We've got more updates for you on the impending Wu-Tang Clan 20th anniversary album, rumored to be titled A Better Tomorrow. Once more, RZA has spoken on the status of the LP with the Associated Press, revealing he'd like to finish it within the next 42 days-- however he's still missing a key element-- Raekwon.

While RZA denies beef between the two, he previously spoke on how the Chef hasn't put down any verses for the album yet. Is it possible that we'd receive a Wu-Tang album without any Rae? RZA says he'd have to vote on it with the rest of the crew first.

"That's something that I would take a vote on with the rest of the crew," RZA said of releasing an album without him. "I'm not a dictator about that. Raekwon is a valuable energy to the Wu-Tang, his voice, his lyrics, his approach. Rae is a master lyricist."

He spoke on how Raekwon hasn't participated in the record yet, again. "Everybody did their verses except Raekwon," RZA said. "He hasn't turned in his verses yet. I don't know if he's still trying to find the vibe of the music. We have to talk about it before it becomes too late. But he hasn't come to the table yet."

Hopefully they talk about it before six weeks time is up, as that's when RZA is hoping to finish the album. The whole process for this new album has made the Wu rapper realize the differences between working on rap music when you're a young man versus an older man.

"When you're a young man, you're hustling and you've got 12 hours a day to dedicate to music. It might be more than that," the rapper explained. "The energy that's important is constantly pouring out. But when you've got to go seek for the energy, it becomes a little more difficult. Wu-Tang is forever, I'll never take back that statement. But we haven't recorded a lot of studio albums. This is the first album we've recorded in seven years, actually. And we can't wait seven years for another album."

Stay tuned.
