The Lakers snapped a five-game losing streak last night.

With just 16 games left in the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers are 6.5 games back of the Utah Jazz for eighth place in the Western Conference. The Lakers have a very slim chance at making the playoffs and with a plethora of injuries, the team has come to terms with their inevitable fate. While LeBron James' first season with the team has been a huge disappointment, it appears as though the superstar is staying positive for the foreseeable future. The team snapped a five-game losing streak on Tuesday night when they defeated the Chicago Bulls 123-107 and LeBron explained how he hopes to keep winning.

"I don't talk about [being professional]. That's what I live," James said according to ESPN. "You guys ask me questions, I answer questions, but I live being professional. I live playing every game like it's my last. No matter what's going on. You finish out strong. That's just who I am."

The three-time NBA Champion also explained that he wishes he was in the postseason but he's not discouraged moving forward.

"Obviously, I would love for the team to be in the postseason," James explained. "Even if I'm not a part of it, the postseason I've always loved. But right now, it's not the hand I was dealt, so you play the hand that you were dealt until the dealer shuffles the cards and you're dealt another hand and can do that."

The Lakers are now ranked 11th in the Western Conference with a record of 31-36.
