R. Kelly's ex-wife and estranged daughters appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier today to discuss the numerous allegations against R. Kelly following Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly docuseries. Speaking to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, Andrea Kelly, the singer's ex-wife, and his estranged 21-year old daughter, Joan opened up about the numerous allegations against the singer.

Joann Kelly previously addressed the allegations against her father on Instagram, but in a new interview, she, alongside her mother, detailed their feelings towards the scandal.

"I know that coming forward brings validity to these young women and young girl's stories, and being a mother I could not not say anything," Andrea said. After Morgan asked whether she felt that there was validity behind these women's stories, she said, "I believe that he is abusive. I can't confirm or deny these women's stories because again I have not lived it personally, all I can say is what rings true to my life." She added, "My truth is what I survived. He was abusive to me, verbally, emotionally, physically, sexually and as we stand today, he's financially abusing me."

Joann Kelly explained that she also doesn't want to confirm or deny the allegations, but also added that it hurts hearing that her father allegedly committed these horrific crimes.

"As I said, I'm very torn. At the end of the day, it's still family. He's still my blood, so yes, I do still love my father," she said. "If my father's a toxic person then, unfortunately, we just have to love him from a distance. There's no love lost but, I just had to separate myself."
