LaVar says Lonzo is better than LeBron.

LaVar Ball has been relatively quiet throughout the Lakers' attempts to make a blockbuster trade for New Orleans Pelicans All Star Anthony Davis. But today, just hours before the NBA trade deadline, the Ball father made an appearance on Fox Sports 1's Undisputed to air out his feelings.

As expected, LaVar made the most of his TV time and even guaranteed that LeBron James will not win an NBA Championship in L.A. without the help of his son, Lonzo Ball.

Furthermore, LaVar said Lonzo is better than LeBron, who is "getting old" and struggles at the free throw line.

Check out that portion of today's discussion in the video embedded below.

LaVar first voiced his displeasure about the Lakers' season earlier this week when he dubbed head coach Luke Walton "the worst coach" Lonzo has ever had. During a recent interview with the “Doug & Wolf” show on Arizona’s 98.7 FM, LaVar explained:

“Everyone who’s had confidence in Lonzo just let him go and let him win. That’s what he does. He wins. Luke Walton turned him into a loser. A loser’s mentality is like, ‘Oh, he’s young, he’ll get it.’ Instead of going out there and letting him do what he does.”

He reiterated that stance on today's taping of Undisputed.

Magic Johnson and the Lakers have reportedly offered up their young core, including Lonzo, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart and Iviva Zubac, as well as Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and two first round draft picks as part of a package for Anthony Davis.

Naturally, LaVar does not want Lonzo to play in New Orleans and instead prefers that he goes somewhere like Phoenix, Chicago or New York. That said, it does not appear that the Pelicans are going to bite on the Lakers' offer before today's 3pm trade deadline.
