There are very few famous shows and movies that get to remain classics tucked away in time. Like many popular shows from the past, The Twilight Zone is getting a reboot. The classic anthology series featured suspenseful stories of mystery and mayhem. CBS All Access will be bringing the show back to life, and according to The Hollywood ReporterJordan Peele is set to produce, narrate, and host the reboot.

Peele is taking on the role that Rod Serling played in the original Twilight Zone. Production for the reboot will not begin until Fall of 2019, with no release date announced. "Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours,” Peele stated. “I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.”

In a short promo trailer for the reinvented Twilight Zone, Peele and Serling narrate a trippy landscape together as the spine-tingling theme song echoes in the background. Peele's Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg's Genre Films will executive produce the reboot. CBS All Access is a  video-on-demand platform much like Netflix, and The Twilight Zone will premiere on the new service.
