Despite being the reigning defensive player of the year for the Utah Jazz, Rudy Gobert was not chosen to be a reserve for the all-star game, which prompted the player to get quite emotional during a media scrum. After being asked about the snub, Gobert talked about how he was disappointed by it and ended up walking away with tears in his eyes.

In true Draymond Green form, the Golden State Warriors big man took to Twitter to throw a shot at Gobert. Green was also snubbed from the all-star game but clearly didn't let it affect him as much.

Gobert wasn't the only one surprised by his exclusion from the all-star game.
“Flabbergasted, disappointed, disgusted, I guess would be some adjectives to describe our collective mood,” Utah Jazz GM Dennis Lindsey said via nba.com. “We’re not very happy with the coaches’ vote. Ownership, [team president] Steve Starks, [head coach] Quin Snyder, myself — there’s no way to put into words our disappointment.”
Since entering the league in 2013, Gobert has not been able to crack an all-star game roster but has continued to be a solid play for the Jazz which is perhaps why he may have been feeling sad after being slept on for another season.
