Dragon Ball FighterZ’s World Tour tournament will be kicking off next week, and gamers are preparing for what will be the most intense battle of their lives. Since the game dropped earlier this year, fans of the Dragon Ball series have been hooked on the addictive gameplay. Dragon Ball FighterZ is a perfect mix of several other successful and classic Dragon Ball games. Dragon Ball Budokai, Xenoverse, and Tenkaichi were all amazing titles, but the latest fighter reaches a level of perfection that elevated the entire series.

A trailer for the tournament was released this weekend by developer Bandai Namco, and it revealed the date for the first competition and a link to the official site for the event. The Dragon Ball FighterZ’s World Tour tournament will start next weekend at CEO in Daytona, FL, from June 29 to July 1. There is a $5,000 pot for the winners, and the overall champion will be entered in the finals, which will take place in January. The tour will incorporate “Saga Event” stops, which will bring Dragon Ball FighterZ tournaments to different countries such as Thunderstruck (Mexico), Ultimate Fighting Arena (France), Southeast Asia Major (Singapore), and VS Fighting (United Kingdom). Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available on the Xbox One and PlayStation consoles, and it will be dropping on the Twitch later this year.
