UK rapper J Hus has been arrested in London after police stopped his vehicle near Westfield shopping centre in the Stratford district. The rapper was denied bail in a pre-trial hearing, and will have to remain in custody until his court date on July 20. Put that in perspective, that's a month in the precinct for carrying an unconcealed dagger.

J Hus recently released his Big Spang EP, which followed in the footsteps of his major debut Common Sense, universally lauded by critics as a record brimming with positivity. The decision to withhold bail is alarming considering his reputation as a reformed hustler and a family man. Unfortunately two prior prison stints were crucial in the Judge's deliberation. J Hus famously referred to himself as a "doughnut hustler" before he made his mark as a musician.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Network broke down the chain of events in the following statement: "Officers in a marked police car stopped a vehicle in International Way E20, at about 12.35pm on Thursday 21 June. The occupants of the vehicle were searched and a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a knife/bladed article."

J Hus has been ardently working towards his follow to Common Sense, an unnamed project he promised for the month August.
