Every March, Nike has their annual "Air Max Day" which celebrates one of the brand's most iconic lines of shoes. Considering the resurgence of the Air Max 97 and the wave of nostalgia people have been having these days, it's no surprise Nike is making the shoe a part of Air Max day. In true Nike form, the Beaverton brand is going for some storytelling, as the famous "Have A Nike Day" slogan from the 70s is coming to the famous 97.

The shoes will have the usual tooling and materials seen from an Air Max 97 and feature some interesting color choices that are sure to make this shoe quite flashy on foot. There is a silver midsole with each stripe above becoming a different color. First, we get a deep lilac, then a black stripe with "Have A Nike Day" written throughout it. From there, the shoe alternates between a creamy beige and aqua before arriving at the tongue.
