D-Wade says Rockets need to address "the real problem."

The Houston Rockets have gotten out to a sluggish start this season and it looks like Carmelo Anthony will be the first to go, as reports suggest the organization could waive the veteran forward as early as today.

In 10 games with Houston this season, Melo is averaging a pedestrian 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in a career-low 29.4 minutes per night, but he's certainly not the reason why the team is just 5-7 thus far. Still, it appears as though his days in H-Town are numbered and that isn't sitting right with his good friend Dwyane Wade.

Wade, who has already announced that this season will be his last in the NBA, took to twitter amid all the rumors to show support for Melo.

"Trying to make my guy @carmeloanthony the fall guy huh!?" D-Wade's tweet reads. "Man y’all need to stop. That’s the easy way out instead of addressing what the real problem." Additionally, Wade endorsed a tweet from AP basketball writer Tim Reynolds, "Melo deserves better than this."

Carmelo, 34, hasn't been with the team for their last two games with what has been described as an "illness," and he didn't join the Rockets on their trip to Denver last night, according to the report. Furthermore, ESPN's Tim MacMahon reports Rockets players and members of the coaching staff believe that veteran forward Carmelo Anthony has already played in his final game for the team.

The Rockets will take on the Nuggets in Denver on Tuesday, followed by a home game against the defending champs on Thursday night.
