The holiday season is upon is and along with it comes a new season of Fortnite. The trailer for the seventh season of the game released today and begins with a charming, animated nutcracker decorating his cabin for the holidays; he strings up lights, bakes gingerbread cookies and plops a tree in his living room. From there the camera zooms out to a room of the cartoonish, now-iconic Fortnite characters watching it all unfold on their TV, when they get shocked out of their reverie by the major addition to Fortnite's new season: Christmas.
Atop a giant ice shelf which crawls up at a more-than-glacial pace comes a tatted Santa Claus (holding a giant sword) with a crew of snowman mercenaries who look pretty certain that the cabin dwellers are on the "naughty" list. From behind them come the new vehicle of the season, called the "Stormwing," a biplane decked out with reindeer antlers and Christmas lights: "you better watch out."
As Epic puts it: "takes to the slopes and skies in Season 7. A mysterious iceberg has smashed into the island, bringing new frosty locations and gameplay, including a new flying vehicle: the Stormwing." The new season is available to play now and people are taking serious advantage of the new features:
