Twitch's most celebrated streamers have been handpicked for a Doritos-sponsored Call of Duty showdown.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout is the name of the game for the very first Doritos Bowl of its kind to feature A-list Twitch streamers in multiplayer combat. eSports stars including  Ninja, Shroud, Courage, and Dr Lupo will be forced out of hiding to compete in-person at the TwitchCon fan gathering in San Jose on October 27, sponsored of course by Doritos Tortilla Chips.

“I am very excited to be involved in Doritos Bowl; the event should be really fun and I am quite interested to see how my team will stack up against the squads that Ninja, DrLupo, and CouRage have put together,” Shroud said in his assessment of the competition. "Most importantly, I am pumped to get hooked up with ridiculous amounts of Doritos.” You heard right, Shroud is shrewd enough to sense a product endorsement opportunity when he sees one. Shake a few hands, smile for the camera, and before you know it, Shroud could be raking in a monthly stipend for flashing a brand of chips on his Twitch account, or so he thought.

Make no mistake about it, The Doritos Bowl is a cross-promotional event for Activision and Frito Lay, but actual prize money will be handed out. So in that sense, it counts like any other tournament inscription within the sport. Tune in come October.
