Chris Rock pokes fun at Kevin Hart while praising the Philly comedian for his Oscars gig.

Chris Rock has undoubtedly earned his stripes in comedy and in the entertainment world in general. However, he has no problem saluting the new leaders of the comedy. Rock has praised Kevin Hart in the past and he's stoked on the fact the Philly comedian will be hosting the 2019 Oscars.

Chris Rock took to Instagram to share his excitement about Kevin Hart's new gig as the host of the 2019 Oscars. However, he does admit that its becoming more and more common that Kevin Hart ends up taking jobs from him.

"Damn Ive lost another job to Kevin Hart," he wrote on Instagram after it was revealed that Hart would host the 91st Oscars. "Congrats Cant wait. They got the best person for the job."

Hart confirmed the news that he would be hosting the 2019 Oscars last night with a lengthy Instagram caption, writing, "I am so happy to say that the day has finally come for me to host the Oscars. I am simply blown away simply because this has been a goal on my list for a long time... To be able to join the legendary list of hosts that have graced that stage in unbelievable."

Kevin Hart and Chris Rock were recently announced to be teaming up for the upcoming film Co-Parenting. Hart is set to star in the film while Rock holds down directing duties. The film is supposed to focus on a stay-at-home dad who gets into a nasty divorce and custody war with his wife.
