The group will appear as "Star Producers."

Migos will appear on season 2 of Chinese hip-hop reality show The Rap Of China, according to PR Newswire. The Atlanta rap trio will serve as "Star Producers" on the show, joining the likes of Battle Rap icon MC Jin and multi-talented artist Kris Wu. The role of the producers is to train and guide the rappers through the competition. Each producer will manage a team of contestants.

Season 1 of the show, despite being a great success, and being credited with leading to mainstream interest in rap within the country, was followed by a hip-hop ban from the government of China. It advised people with ties to hip-hop culture and tattoos to not be shown on television. This led to many people in the Chinese music industry speaking out against the ban

Despite the opposition from the government, season 2 of the show has been greenlit to air oniQiyi.com this summer. The show will include competitors from five Chinese cities, as well as Australia, Malaysia, and North America.

Migos recently announced that they'll be hitting the road with Drake on the Aubrey and the Three Amigos tour beginning in July. You can find the full tour dates here.
