The Evil Genius also comes loaded with "guest actors" eager to impress their idol - people like 21 Savage, NBA Youngboy, and Quavo, but not Kevin Gates.
The Baton Rouge legend has earned the right to call himself one of Gucci Mane's peers. The nature of their "even-keel" dynamic was evident the moment they were introduced to one another in late-June, with Gucci paying homage to his "peer" in naming him a fellow "Hood Legend."
And to think, for reasons likely pertaining to their respective prison sentences and geolocations, Kev and Gucci never sat down for a recording session together, until now. "I'm Not Goin'" is to my knowledge, a premeditated affair both men would happily write off as an enforceable labor of love.
