Though hip-hop fans have been continuously eating throughout the year, the game has been sorely lacking the presence of 2 Chainz. Though Tity Boi has been hard at work on his upcoming Rap Or Go To The League, it's safe to say that we may have benefitted from his wisdom and perspective. Clearly, Swizz Beatz feels the same way, having enlisted his talent for the penultimate Poison cut, "Stunt." The song kicks off with an immediate sense of urgency, as a haunting, hypnotic vocal sample strikes an ominous tone. Swizz sets it off with an energetic, hype-building verse, though we could have used a few well-placed "GODDAMMITS."
2 Chainz slides through for the second verse, letting the flow pick up steam with every bar. "Casualties of war, semi by the door, semi by the bed, I got many more," he raps, "I got plenty more, let the Remy pour, hundred inch screen just to watch a porn." On paper, the combination of 2 Chainz and Swizz Beatz may seem unconventional, but in practice, the end result is nothing short of fire.
