The Game apparently failed to attend court hearings on a consistent basis.

In a legal battle that has been going on for three years, The Game has reportedly been denied a new trial in his sexual assault case. You may remember the VH1 show She's Got Game, and the controversy that surrounded it in 2015. The purpose of the show was to find The Game a new girlfriend but, instead, it landed him in some serious hot water as he was taken to court for a sexual assault accusation. Priscilla Rainey is the woman claiming that Game touched her inappropriately in a sports bar outside of Chicago and according to Courthouse News, the rapper, real name Jayceon Taylor, failed to show up to court so many times that he will not be granted a new trial after requesting one.

The lawsuit reads, "Taylor sexually battered Rainey that night, including by reaching his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks in front of a crowded room of people." Rainey has already been granted $7.1 million in damages but The Game demanded a new trial, claiming the reward was excessive. A ruling was reached last week that would prevent a new trial from taking place, reading, "The unauthorized touching of a woman’s vagina and other intimate areas is a reprehensible act, particularly in front of a crowd of onlookers. And although no further justification is necessary, the reprehensibility of Taylor’s conduct following the battery further justifies the punitive damages award."

This continues to drag on for Game. Hopefully, the two can come to terms about an amount that both parties are satisfied with.
