The Stan Lee drama continues.

Stan Lee is the creator of several prominent comic book characters, including the X-Men, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and Black Panther. You would think such a legendary man would have time to relax, but the past few months have been very hectic for Lee. First, he filed a restraining order against his former caregiver and business partner Keya Morgan. It was actually Lee's attorney, Tom Lallas, that asked for the restraining order, claiming that Morgan was isolating Lee from his friends and family. A welfare check was conducted on Lee's house, and when Morgan arrived at the scene, police would not let him in the residence. Infuriated, Morgan called the police and filed a false report stating that Lee's residence was being robbed.

According to Deadlinea judge dismissed the restraining order, stating that confusion over who legitimately represented Stan Lee swayed his decision. The judge dismissed the case without prejudice, which means it can be reopened again at a later date. Attorney Tom Lallas stated that when he arrived in court, several other lawyers were there claiming they represented Lee. The case of mismatched lawyers is what forced the judge to dismiss the case. “It was very unusual,” said Lallas. “It has never happened to me in 40 years.”
