KD isn't here for the Longhorns slander.

Kevin Durant put the Golden State Warriors on his back in Game 3 last night, lifting the defending champs to a commanding 3-0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Durant led all scorers with 43 points on on 15-of-23 shooting, along with 13 rebounds and seven assists.

After the game, LeBron James used words like "assassin" and "one of the best players that the league has ever seen," in describing Durant's game. And while LeBron tipped his cap to KD, disgruntled Cavs fans waited to heckle the reigning NBA Finals MVP outside of the team hotel in Cleveland.

Following Golden State's 110-102 victory, one heckler yelled, "UT's butt!," a reference to Durant's alma mater, the University of Texas, and asked "Where LeBron at?" as Durant walked into the building. Rather than ignoring the verbal nonsense, KD turned to approach the fool but was quickly restrained and led into the hotel.

Durant and the Warriors will look to complete the four-game sweep against the Cavs, and capture their second straight NBA title, on Friday night at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Barring an outstanding performance by Steph Curry, which is certainly not out of the question, it looks like Kevin Durant is also on track to take home the Finals MVP award for the second consecutive season.

Game 4 is scheduled to tip at 9:00pm ET.
