Wale serves free lunch to "Dummies" and Mensa candidates alike.

Don't expect Wale to go down without a fight. Despite teasing a potential retirement from music (though rappers have been known to bend the truth vis a vis hanging it up), Wale has delivered a new EP titled Free Lunch. Many rappers use the intro track as a platform for tone-setting and punch-swinging in equal measure, and the MMG rapper is no exception. Taking to a soulful instrumental from Paperboy Fabe, Wale addresses those in the media who label him enemy of the state.

"One of the best of my generation but media hate me, n***a we grew up on Weezy and Baby, Lupe and Jay-Z," he raps, "that mean I shoot you, say miss, excuse me." Lyrically, Wale is in fine form, and while he may have a bone to pick with media as a whole, rest assured we value his contributions to the game. Enjoy your free lunch, dummy or otherwise.

Quotable Lyrics

Dummies could never play me
One of the best of my generation but media hate me
N***a we grew up on Weezy and Baby, Lupe and Jay-Z
That mean I shoot you, say miss, excuse me
Get her in tune and off The Cool, kick push to your old lady, yeah
