Redman takes it back to the Golden Age.

Redman was one of the most prolific rappers in the 90's, so it makes sense that Reggie Noble would want to head back to that time period. The New Jersey representer has dropped two singles previously that are expected to be on his long-awaited and highly anticipated album Muddy Waters Too. Redman released "I Love Hip-Hop," followed by "YA!" but now he's back with a third single, "1990 Now."

As the title suggests, "1990 Now" plays on the nostalgic feeling of the Golden Age. The instrumental is one part funk, one part house party, and the synths create an energetic energy as Redman instructs the audience to clap their hands for the weed that he has brought for everybody.

Quotable Lyrics
New niggas hate that
Old niggas make that
That's like a Maybach
Built with an 8-Track
