Back in November, Denzel Curry began teasing his upcoming single "Sumo." He performed it at Tyler The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw in October and since then, fans have eagerly awaited it to drop. Later on, he teased that there would be a special feature on it before revealing that it would be none other than fellow South Floridian rapper, Ski Mask The Slump God. While fans have been eagerly waiting for the collaboration, it seems like Denzel is fed up with the wait as well. He hit Twitter to clarify what the delay was.
"Ski mask will not be featured on Sumo the reason it took so long to release was because I was waiting on him no worries I’ll just do it myself," Curry wrote on Twitter. It looks like the collaboration between two of hip hop's promising young acts won't be happening on this particular track. It's unfortunate because many have been curious to hear how the collaboration would come out but it looks like we'll never know.

Ski Mask The Slump God has been working on his forthcoming project, Beware The Book Of Eli. A few weeks a go, he said that it would drop "in a few days" but we've yet to receive it. There's a good chance he's been putting the final touches on the project.
As for Denzel Curry, he recently revealed that his forthcoming album Taboo won't be dropping this year. He hit Twitter to explain that he's been trying to perfect it because if he doesn't, "y'all be quick to call it trash."
Regardless, hopefully we get another collaboration with Curry and Ski Mask at some point in 2018.
