2017 has been one hell of a ride for Gucci Mane is all the best ways. After his release in 2016, he made it quite clear that his position in the rap game can't be filled by anyone else. In 2017, he solidified himself as a household name throughout America. He delivered three projects, including last week's El Gato The Human Glacier, as well as an New York Times best-seller autobiography and to top it all off, he got paid to get married on TV. Less than a week after dropping his third project of the year, he's already plotting out his next album.

"Next solo album #TheEvilGenius," Gucci Mane wrote on Twitter which was accompanied by a picture of Gucci Mane standing in front of a parked commercial truck in a Gucci track suit. It's a simple yet revealing title. Prior to his incarceration, Charlamagne the God once referred to Guwop as hip hop's boogeyman and yet, Gucci's brilliance as an artist was still as evident as ever. He's yet to announce a release date for the project but considering how quickly he turns over music, we'll probably get it in the coming months.

In addition to the amount of music he's put out, he's still been heavily focused on his business. Prior to the release of El Gato The Human Glacier, the rapper announced that he penned a $10 million dollar extension deal with Atlantic Records. In October, Reebok also announced that Gucci Mane will also be the face of their new campaign.
