The former collaborators appear to be at odds as Lil Baby calls out Moneybagg Yo’s recent fashion sensibilities and jewelry.

Moneybagg Yo and Lil Baby are beefing, apparently, and not necessarily for any profound reason. Over the weekend, the two of them appeared to take shots at each other after Baby commented on one of Moneybagg Yo’s recent posts. Apparently, Baby took offense when Bagg flexed one of his outfits online, including a chain that many thought looked similar to his.

“Long chain or don’t bang,” Baby commented on Bagg’s post, to which the Heartless rapper replied, “I see why.”

The back-and-forth ended there until Bagg went off on his Instagram Story with a display of his cash and an array of jewelry.

“Quote unquote hate rats but be in the car with them,” Bagg said. “Feel like just ‘cause they n***a, they day one, they got all this history with them, they exempt. Wrong, that ain’t how that sh*t go but n***as ain’t standing on principles and morals and sh*t no more but whatever. But picking and choosing. Then you got n***as that will see a thousand motherf*ckers do something but pick this one person out the thousand to say something to, throw shots at, play with, all kind of weird ass games, all that type of sh*t. Picking and choosing your battles.”

If the two are beefing, we hope that it will get resolved sooner rather than later, considering they have quite the chemistry in the booth, from songs like “All Of A Sudden” to “U Played” and even “No Sucker.” At one point, the two also teased the idea of a joint project, but we could probably count that out for the time being.
