Drake delivered his "FOMO" short film on Tuesday night, and it has been the talk of the hip-hop world. This should not be a big surprise, especially when you consider how Drizzy is the biggest rapper in the world.
Fans are always eager to either praise or critique whatever he does. That was especially true as it pertains to this livestream. Having said that, the artist did come through with some impressive visuals, and the song snippets also left us intrigued and wanting more.
Throughout the short film, there were some interesting segments. One of those segments took place near the beginning, and it featured the artist's mom, Sandra Graham. In fact, there was one scene in which it was revealed that she now has a tattoo on her wrist that says "ICEMOM." Of course, this is a refence to Drake's latest album, ICEMAN.

Drake has always shown love to his mother. In fact, a younger version of her is featured on the cover art for MAID OF HONOUR. Throughout the short film segment, Sandra can be seen alongside some of her longtime friends. They discuss memories about their lifestyles and drifting apart, only to come back together throughout the years.
It was a sweet moment during the livestream, and there is absolutely nothing to critique on that front. Unless, of course, you are the ultimate cynical hater.
Unfortunately, this new short film did not come with an album announcement. While Drake has made it clear that a tour is coming, we are still unsure of how his new music will eventually be packaged.
With songs with Don Toliver and Yeat in the vault, we can only imagine what else the megastar has in store.
