Vic Mensa never disappoints when he's asked to drop a freestyle. Yesterday -- the release day for his new album, The Autobiography -- Mensa engaged in a particularly memorable freestyle session on "Sway in the Morning."" What's that familiar instrumental he tears apart? That's the beat from Kendrick Lamar's first-ever single, 2011's "HiiiPoWer," which landed on Section.80

At one point in the freestyle, Mensa takes another shot at DJ Akademiks. "All I hear is the same questions, interviews / Wanna pin the news in my city to benefit they business / That shit is wack, that's why I call you DJ Wackademiks / I'm a menace," raps the Roc Nation signee. Mensa and the social media personality first sparred on an episode of Complex's "Everyday Struggle," which is hosted by Akademiks and Joe Budden. Watch Mensa's full "Sway in the Morning" freestyle below.

The Autobiography features Pharrell, Chief Keef, The-Dream, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. Stream the album here.
