Woods pleads guilty to reckless driving.

Tiger Woods has reportedly plead guilty to reckless driving today at his court hearing in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Woods was arrested on Memorial Day under suspicion of driving under the influence, after a police officer found him stopped on the side of the road with his car still running.

The 41-year old golfer reportedly had pain, anxiety and sleeping medications as well as THC in his system at the time of his arrest according to the toxicology report released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Woods entered into a DUI first-offender program, under which the state drops the DUI charge and he is expected to plead guilty to the lesser charge of reckless driving. In the diversion program, Woods will spend a year on probation and pay a $250 fine and court costs. Additionally he is required to attend DUI school, perform 20 hours of community service and attend a workshop where victims of impaired drivers detail how their lives were damaged.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, cops came upon Woods asleep in his car with the engine running and his right blinker flashing. He "had extremely slow and slurred speech."

Woods reportedly told cops he was "coming from L.A. California from golfing" but then changed his story and said he didn't know where he was. He took a field sobriety test and failed badly.

Not long after the arrest, the 14-time major champion explained on social media,

“I’m currently receiving professional help to manage my medications and the ways that I deal with back pain and a sleep disorder,” Woods said. “I want to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of support and understanding especially the fans and players on tour.”

Tiger has not played golf competitively since withdrawing from the Omega Dubai Desert Classic after the opening round of the tournament back in February.
