Tiffany Haddish was the honouree of the hour at the Black Women in Hollywood event today.

Tiffany Haddish just can't keep her name out of the headlines. Just recently she responded to the possible shade Beyonce threw her way after Tiffany told a few publications that Bey was going to fight a woman for putting her hands on Jay-Z. "If they’re tryna party with the queen, they gon’ have to sign a non-disclosure." Beyonce sings in DJ Khaled's new beat, "Top Off" featuring Future and Jay.

Tiffany tweeted at the jab saying: "I Love That she said my name. That means I made it! And it also means I didn’t lie and I will sign what ever she wants my To, I LOVE BEYONCÉ!"

More recently, Tiff was honoured at Essence Magazine's Black Women In Hollywood luncheon today where she made an inspirational, but more comedic speech, after excepting her award from Get Out's Lil Rel Howery.

“Me and Rel, we used to be on the telephone talking,” she said to the audience. “I used to be like, ‘Rel, we gon’ make it, man. We gon’ do this, we gon’ have a TV show … And he used to be like, ‘You dream big.’ Yeah, I dream big! You gotta dream as big as possible … And like, look at us now, Rel! Aaaah!”

“Coming from where I came from, being a foster youth … like living in all those different homes … I am glad I had those experiences because now when I perform I can come from a place of reality, I know how different people live. You know, everybody crazy, it don’t matter what your nationality is, I lived with some different races and, yeah everybody got problems — I shouldn’t have said that.”

She later explained how she's been blessed to travel the world and see that no matter where you are, everybody's going through some shit. “I just wish everyone in this room happiness … I curse you all with happiness … You all are amazing … all of us women, we bring we bring a lot of light, a lot of wonderfulness, and if you ever wanna bring some negativity, just sit your ass down somewhere.”
