A month after releasing her Up In Smoke EP, Thomas is back with a new track, "Trust Me." The track turns Drake's catchphrase of the moment, minus the pseudo Jamaican accent, into a sexy, late-night hook. Thomas' lyrics throughout are free-flowing and sensual -- sometimes quite lusty -- but the appeal of the track is in its subtlety.
Combined with a slowed down deep house-y production, "Trust Me" sets the mood immediately. This year seems to be Thomas' most productive yet, and we'd like to see her explore this new sound even more.
