A month after releasing her Up In Smoke EP, Thomas is back with a new track, "Trust Me." The track turns Drake's catchphrase of the moment, minus the pseudo Jamaican accent, into a sexy, late-night hook. Thomas' lyrics throughout are free-flowing and sensual -- sometimes quite lusty -- but the appeal of the track is in its subtlety.
Combined with a slowed down deep house-y production, "Trust Me" sets the mood immediately. This year seems to be Thomas' most productive yet, and we'd like to see her explore this new sound even more.
Is Tiara Thomas ready to be a household name in R&B?
Finally, I got you all to me
Oh I just can't believe, take what you want
Mine only, I hope he never leaves
You're the only one who could hit it raw
