Ghostface Killah, Boldy James, and Mr. Muthafuckin Exquire team up for "Rubble Kings" soundtrack.

There are a ton of dope tracks in the “Rubble Kings” documentary by Adult Swim and Mass Appeal, and we're highlighting one of our favorites.

The three spitters each take a turn on the mic, going in on Little Shalimar’s moody, stuttering production. No fancy stuff either, just straight up lyricism from each emcee.

The message behind the song works for both the era of the film in the 1970s and today: the rappers call out that the struggle everyone goes through from “Detroit, LA, B-more, Houston” it’s the “same damn thang and it’s a shame.” It’s good to hear these rappers remind us the struggle is universal. Listen to the whole mixtape here.

Quotable Lyrics

“Pardon me, I’m here for Goliath
Imma OD on killing this nigga like Len Bias
drop his head in the turkey fryer
fry this nigga real quick in his whole attire”

- Ghostface Killah
