A minimalist beat and a quick delivery characterize Rich Chigga's new joint "Seventeen." The Indonesian rapper, who just turned 17, taught himself English by watching YouTube videos. The rapper, who's already enjoyed low-key success working with the likes of Ghostface, confirmed on Twitter that "Seventeen" is the first song he's produced by himself.
"Seventeen" has the same downbeat style as his first hit "Dat $tick" -- more than 30 million hits on YouTube and counting -- and Chigga has no qualms flaunting his lyrical chops to the masses. Though skilled, his lyrics show the kid doesn't take himself too seriously. No word yet on whether an album is in the works.
