Remix Fix: Tristin Perry's Old-School Flavored "Gas Pedal"

Tristin Perry is so new that we don't know who he is, if he's a he, or where he's based (so please hit us up Tristin)! But, his remix of Sage The Gemini's, "Gas Pedal," is off the hook.

At ten days old, this remix boasts live drum sounds, funk bass, and and an old-school vibe that fades into newer synth sounds in the second hook. There's also a dope groove and keys solo at the end. Plus who doesn't love a good retro sounding R&B diva vocal sample brilliantly placed throughout a track?

We don't really know who this Tristin cat is, but we do know that he made a hot as hell funk remix of one of hip-hop lovers' favorite Sage records.
