Don't mess with the IRS.

In the land of the free and the home of the brave, you better pay your taxes. Messing around with Uncle Sam's money is a crime that no one has time for. Those who earn millions a year, such as celebrities, are hit with some of the highest taxes in the nation. We've watched as the IRS destroys careers and repossesses homes in order to get their pay. You would think the government earned the money themselves with how viciously they will tear down anyone who owes an exorbitant amount in back taxes. When it comes to the IRS, it's best to play it safe and stick to the script.

According to The BlastMigos members Quavo and Takeoff have been hit with tax liens due to unpaid taxes from two years ago. According to official documents, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed the tax lien against Quavo for failing to pay a state tax bill of $14,055. Takeoff was hit with a lien on the same day as Quavo for $14,348. While Quavo's lien has been released due to full payment, Takeoff's has yet to be released. A lien can result in the government garnishing your wages or declaring your property as their own.
