On December 9th, Royce Da 5'9" and DJ Premier will be teaming up to bring us a joint album under the name PRhyme. After sharing a couple of incendiary, engrossing tracks, the duo begin rolling out a documentary that details the making of the project. Entitled "Raiders Of The Lost Art," the documentary's first part drops today.
In it, Premo speaks on new sounds in the rap industry, saying, "Let the kids have that. I'ma keep on boom-bappin' it. Kicks, snares, hi-hats, dope samples and scratching."
Elsewhere, Royce shares details about his past as an alcoholic, showing signs of recovery and rebirth. PRhyme should be dope.
