Fresno, CA underground stalwart Planet Asia is back with a funky new cut. "Twist One" is produced by Bay Area OG DJ Fresh, who lays down a smooth piece of electro g-funk that brings us back to a bygone era.
Planet Asia is now pushing 40, but his raps are still as sharp as ever, making the track ripe for summer 2015. Vets like E-40 continue to teach us not to sleep on The Bay, and though the sound here is highly localized, any hip-hop head can recognize the talent. In the end, "Twist One" will make you wanna do just that.
Planet Asia will be the star of the latest edition of DJ Fresh's The Tonite Show series. If you like "Twist One," look out for that on July 7.
