After working on Academy Award nominated film "Hidden Figures," Pharrell Williams continues his foray into the Hollywood game with a new musical biopic produced by Fox Studios. The project, titled "Atlantis", is described as a "Romeo and Juliet" inspired coming of age story set against the backdrop of Virginia Beach. As this is Pharrell we're talking about, the project is sure to feature a vast array of his musical influences and an insight into his many different styles. Hopefully the film will explore the origins of his multifaceted musical personality, including his solo material, N.E.R.D, and The Neptunes.
The film has no official release date, but remains in early production stages for now.
