South Carolina MC Nick Grant has been climbing up the hip-hop hierarchy since his appearance as a musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and now takes on another performance in a more intimate setting.
Grant brought his lyrical talents to NPR for their "Tiny Desk" series, despite being a bit under the weather during the performance. The artist performed “Luxury Vintage Rap,” "Return of the Cool," and “Drug Lord Couture."
The set featured Danny Henderson on drums and Branden Jacobs on the keys. The entire set is a showcase of Grant's slick wordplay. Check out the entire performance.
