Everyone from the internet to the San Antonio Spurs mascot have been trolling Mariah Carey following her disastrous New Year's Eve performance. In the weeks following the event, the singer expressed her distrust with producers of the event and accuses them of trying to humiliate her.

Today, Nick Cannon chimed in on the situation and offered the singer support in addition to expressing his conspiracy theories about the event. The "Amerca's Got Talent" host appeared on "Ellen" to talk about a myriad of topics including his recent health scare, his children and of course his thoughts on the singer's New Year's Eve Performance. Cannon told the audience that "She can do no wrong," and stood up for Carey. You can read an excerpt of his comments here and watch the full clip of his interview below.

You know me, I'm a conspiracy theorist I think the government did that. They set her up. That was a distraction. They just put her out there. I mean, anyone who knows about performing and having in-ears and stuff, things like that can go wrong on live television. I do live television all the time. I screw up on America's Got Talent all the time. When there's people in your ears, saying things and stuff, I think she kinda got a little flustered.
