It's confirmed: Nef the Pharaoh is that dude right now, dropping one slapper after the other. He capped off 2015 with "No Masturbation," and he's now back with the Cardo-produced "#Saydaat." Nef showed up on Drake's IG a couple weeks ago with a caption that read "Say Daat," and now we know why.
Cardo produced the glimmering "Michael Jackson," a standout off Nef's debut EP, and not only does "#Saydaat" prove that collab wasn't a one-off, it's actually the first leak off an entire tape they've cooked up together: Neffy Got Wings. The new track also features another one of The Bay's top talents in Philthy Rich, and with the sinister West Coast instrumental, "#Saydaat" is one all of Cali can stand up for.
Nef has developed a conversational flow that's brimming with a charisma that's all his own -- and maybe just a tad of pimp knowledge he's picked up from his boss at Sic Wid It Records.
