"I fucked 2015 raw, no masturbation," raps Nef the Pharaoh on his latest record. "No Masturbation" is a fitting finale to Nef's breakout year, during which he released his first big hit as well as his debut EP on Sic Wid It Records, becoming the Bay's most promising youngster in the process.
The beat, coming from Daniel Few, is a little more minimal than the club-focused bounce heard on much of his past work -- thus allowing him to zone in on his audience as well those unfamiliar with his movement. He goes on to remind listeners that he's only 20 years old and has already built one of the Bay's most innovative sounds.
After "dinner parties with 40 and conversations with Drake," Nef's ambitions are at an all-time high approaching 2016.
