We’ve already shared one of the alternate “Waves” remixes that Miguel is dropping tomorrow as part of his Rogue Waves EP, but another has popped up. It’s just too good not to share. “Waves (Tame Impala Remix)” features psychedelic rockers Tame Impala adding their signature distortion and reverb-heavy riffs to the popular track.
While we unfortunately don’t get any added vocals from Tame Impala’s frontman, the band makes their mark with re-vamped drums and guitar throughout the entire track. Going in the opposite direction of the “Joshua Tree Version,” this one actually obscures Miguels vocals with added filters and effects. What do y’all think of this one compared to the others that have released?
